The Deep (Iceland, 2012)

Based on a 1984 true story that occurred of Iceland's volcanic Westman Islands.  Burly islander, Gulli, is a fisherman who's aboard the ill-fated vessel Breki when she capsizes in freezing cold waters, several miles away from land.  When Gulli manages to make it to shore after swimming for several hours in sub-zero temperatures, no one can believe his story, leading to scientific tests to discover how he could have managed to survive.  95 minutes. In Icelandic with subtitles.
